Public benefits

The charity trustees are satisfied that both elements of the Public Benefit requirement are met; The direct benefits flowing from the purposes include enhanced education through the provision of premises for statutory organisations to facilitate educational classes (examples include DARD facilitating Young Farmers Training Scheme or Sure Start

provide Parenting Classes), improvements to the local environment through partnership & collaboration with other organisations and a raised awareness of local environmental issues as well as reduced social isolation through the provision of resources for recreation (for example, exercise classes, yoga and gym facilities) leading to improvements in quality of life such as improved physical & mental health. The direct benefits can be demonstrated as tangible through monitoring of the number of people who attend the various classes, training sessions or facilities on a daily basis, and the use of focus group discussions, comments boxes or user surveys. There is no harm arising out of the purposes.
