THE BENEFIT THAT FLOWS FROM THE PURPOSE OF ASHWOODS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP IS THE PROMOTION OF CHRISTIANITY BY PREACHING THE GOSPEL AND THE PROVISION OF RELIEF TO THOSE IN NEED AS ARESULT OF POVERTY, FAMINE, WAR OR OTHER DISASTER. THE MORAL FRAMEWORK OF THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL PROMOTES BENEFITS IN PEOPLE'S LIVES, ENHANCING INTEGRITY AND GOOD

CITIZENSHIP. ANOTHER BENEFIT IS THAT PEOPLE BENEFIT FROM THE RELIEF PROVIDED THROUGH THE CHARITABLE GIVING SUPPORTED BY ASHWOODS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP IN FURTHERANCE OF AND CONSISTENT WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH. THE PRIMARY BENEFIT OF THE PURPOSE IS THAT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AFFECTS ALL IN ENHANCING THEIR MORAL CHARACTER AND GIVING THEM A SENSE OF HUMANITY IN HELPING OTHERS. THESE BENEFITS ARE CAPABLE OF BEING DEMONSTRATED THROUGH THE ACCOUNTS OF THE CHURCH. THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE FIRST PART OF THE PURPOSE ARE ALL THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO RESPOND TO THE GOSPEL. THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE SECOND PART OF THE PURPOSE ARE THOSE WHO RECEIVE FELIEF FROM POVERTY, FAMINE, WARE OR OTHER DISASTER. THERE IS NO HARM FLOWING FROM THE PURPOSE OF ASHWOODS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP AND NO PRIVATE BENEFIT IS GAINED FROM IT.

Charitable purposes

The Association is established to advance Christianity, relieve poverty, sickness and distress, among people in Northern Ireland primarily, but also in India and any other part of the world and in particular: (a) to promote Christianity, by preaching the Gospel and by holding prayer meetings and religious services for public worship; (b) to relief of persons in need as a result of poverty, famine, war or other disaster, natural or otherwise in any part of the World; (c) to provide support and financial aid to such other charitable institutions and/ or charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined in accordance with the law of charity.
