Public benefits

The trustees and management committee believe that the club provides a public benefit in a number of ways and most obviously through its efforts to promote the Advancement of Amateur Sport to the wider public in Northern Ireland. the Club's main purpose is the advancement of racquets sports and other sports that use the club facilities. These

bodies or individuals use the Club's facilities for the purposes of advancing that particular sport or game and by promoting health through physical exertion. The direct benefits that flow from these purposes of advancement of Amateur sport, are improved fitness, physical and mental health and ability in that particular sport. These benefits can be demonstrated through feedback from users of the club. All users of the club are amateur and the facilities are available without restriction to all members of the public. While there is always a risk of injury through the participation in amateur sport, that risk is generally low and the club has a strong history of minimal accidents and injuries recorded at the Club by its users. The club is established to benefit the whole of Northern Ireland with no restrictions on any individuals being able to avail of the use of the facility. The Club's beneficiaries are the general public. There are no private beneficiaries of the organisations.
