Purpose 1 and Purpose 2. Direct benefits which flow from both purposes include the provision of donations to cancer sufferers in Northern which relieves financial hardship and suffering. The organisation also helps people within the community who want to raise money to help cancer related causes. They provide financial resources to organisations

that offer services to people affected by cancer, further alleviating the discomfort of sufferers. These benefits are demonstrated by donations made by organisation to the Royal Liverpool Hospital, the Antrim Area Hospital Palliative care unit and other local charities. The beneficiaries are cancer sufferers and their families and the community in general. Purpose 3. Direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the opportunity for young people and people of all ages to partake and learn about outdoor sport and adventure activities, and in doing so, enjoy the physical and mental health benefits that accompany such activity. These benefits are demonstrated by good attendance at the events the organisation holds. The beneficiaries are those partaking in the schemes. Purpose 4. Direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the opportunity for young people and people of all ages in need, to partake and learn about outdoor sport and adventure activities, and in doing so, enjoy the physical and mental health benefits that accompany such activity. These purposes are demonstrated by good attendance at the events the organisation holds. The beneficiaries are those partaking in the schemes. Purpose 5. Direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the positive social effects concomitant with increased understanding, integration and friendship between people from different backgrounds, be they religious, social or ethnic. Such integration facilitates and promotes reconciliation and the promotion of religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity which is in the benefit of society in general. These purposes are demonstrated by cross community events the organisation runs. The beneficiaries are those people partaking in the events and the local community in general. Purpose 6. Direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the increased awareness in children and adults of risks of sports and adventure activities, how to avoid them, and how to respond in situations where safety is at risk. This purpose is demonstrated by the classes held by the organisation such as First Aid courses and cold water environment courses. The beneficiaries are those who will acquire potentially life-saving skills, and others, who could benefit from the dissemination of this knowledge. Purpose 7. Direct benefits which flow from this purpose include benefits associated with and the result of monetary donations to cancer charities for research and education. By training people in an active and healthy lifestyle they are better equipped to take care of their own health, and reduce chances of getting cancer. This purpose is demonstrated by the healthy living message promoted by the organisation at all its events. The beneficiaries are the charities in receipt of the donations and society in general. By training people in an active and healthy lifestyle, they will benefit from this knowledge. Purpose 8. Direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the positive social effects concomitant with increased understanding, integration and friendship between people from different backgrounds, be they religious, social or ethnic. Such integration facilitates and promotes reconciliation and the promotion of religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity. This purpose is demonstrated by fund raising for community benefit charities. The beneficiaries are the charities in receipt of the donations and society in general. Fund raising for cancer charities. Help alleviate the suffering of cancer sufferers and their families by providing fun activities and days out. The organisation holds specific fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for those living with cancer within the community. Directors have first experience of the effects of cancer on the

sufferer and their family so can provide a sympathetic ear. Accept applications for financial assistance from those in need and provide financial assistance. They maintain website to keep community informed of upcoming events.

Charitable purposes

To relieve the suffering and financial hardship of persons affected by cancer particularly but not exclusively within Northern Ireland; to relieve the suffering and financial hardship of persons affected by cancer particularly but not exclusively within Northern Ireland by raising money for the cancer charities and by offering support to cancer sufferers; to undertake training in outdoor sport and adventure activities for young people and people of all ages for the benefit of their physical and mental wellbeing and the advancement of amateur Sport; to undertake outdoor sport and adventure activities and games for the physical, mental, social and educational benefit of young people and people of all ages particularly for the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; to undertake outdoor sport and adventure activities and other sporting activities for the benefit of mixed religious group and cross community groups and others to promote inter group understanding and sociability and break down sectarian barriers in Northern Ireland and so as to promote reconciliation and the promotion of religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity; to undertake safety training for children and adults in sports and adventure activities in order to advance the health and the saving of lives; to promote for the advancement of cancer education, research and the advancement of health and the saving of lives by undertaking fundraising for various cancer charities for cancer education and by encouraging and training people in an active and healthy lifestyle; to promote the advancement of citizenship and community development and the promotion of racial religious harmony and equality and diversity by undertaking fund raising for various community benefit charities.
