Public benefits

The public benefit that will flow from the purpose of Causeway Volunteer Bureau is that voluntary activity will be promoted and encouraged throughout the community. This means that groups directly involved in the relief of poverty, sickness, disability, old age or other charitable purposes can offer enhanced services to the community. As well as

attracting active members of the community into volunteering Causeway Volunteer Bureau will work hard to attract those who are isolated for whatever reason in the community into voluntary work. In this way isolated people can become part of their community, make new contacts, learn new skills and feel that they are contributing. Causeway Volunteer Bureau will also provide good practice advice and training to volunteer involving organisations that ensures that volunteers have a good volunteering experience and organisations provide a good service to the community. By providing a range of training courses to volunteers Causeway Volunteer Bureau will promote their well being, personal development and employability. These benefits will be measured by formal and informal feedback and reviews of service users and evaluation of training delivered. There is no harm flowing from these activities and no private benefit.
