Indirect benefits are: • A more responsive and caring society to the needs of those socially and economically disadvantaged within N.I. • More effective delivery and use of services in response to identified needs of those socially and economically disadvantaged communities of N.I. These benefits are demonstrated by: • Continual feedback from the socially and economically disadvantaged communities of N.I with whom we work. • Number of increased engagements from socially and economically disadvantaged communities of N.I. • Number of collaborative projects initiated identifying and meeting the needs of socially and economically disadvantaged communities of N.I. There is no harm from the purposes. The charity’s beneficiaries are socially and economically disadvantaged communities of N.I. (but not exclusively). Incidental private benefits to socially and economically disadvantaged communities of N.I will be increased confidence and sense of a society who cares about their needs.

Community Change is a community development, capacity building organisation with a strong belief in our mission statement: "Supporting communities to participate actively in their own development and sustainability within an ever changing environment". Community Change provides high quality tailored facilitation, training, consultancy and support
across Northern Ireland to the voluntary and community sectors, Community Change membership, social enterprises, councils, statutory bodies and the private sector. We deliver our services to an active membership of 700 located throughout rural and urban N.I. Membership of Community Change is free and our members receive benefits such as free weekly Funding Bulletin, a quarterly Newssheet, free Community Change publications, access to ‘Money Monday’s service, access to resources on our website and reduced rates at training events and conferences. All our services are delivered through a range of solution focused, interactive and participatory change management processes and methodologies with the client at the centre. We provide a wide range of services on an extensive range of topics where the focus is on building skills, leadership and good practice. Our facilitation and training brings about positive changes within communities/client groups, enhancing and building skills within communities, committees and boards, groups, organisations and partnerships. Community Change works directly on a 1.1 basis with each client/group to plan, create and deliver high quality group specific facilitation, training, consultancy and support in direct response to each organisation’s unique interests and needs and at an appropriate level and pace for the group throughout Northern Ireland. The benefits of our training and facilitation are demonstrated through ongoing feedback and evaluations from groups and organisations worked with, reports published and information gathered through our work.

The company is established to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities of Northern Ireland (but not exclusively) in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.
