Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the purposes include social welfare, healthier lifestyle, self-esteem, social integration, promote a balanced life, community involvement, development of young people and generally improving the conditions of life for the community. These benefits are demonstrated through the attendance of approximately 30,000

people of all ages throughout the year. Our supervisory staff are in regular contact with user groups and feedback has always been positive. If any issues arise these are dealt with by the board who meet regularly throughout the year. We also get positive feedback from Craigavon Borough Council and SELB who are partners in Edenvilla Limited. It is considered that the purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are the general public in Portadown and its environs. In addition all schools in the SELB have free use of the facilities at specific times. There is no private benefit deriving from these purposes.
