Public benefits

The beneficiaries of the charity are the general public. Our charitable work is to share in the missionary apostolate of the Church by prayer, and by supplying material and financial aid in those areas where the Church is not yet fully established The direct benefits which flow from the first purpose include the supporting of churches,

priests, sisters and catechists, and the building of churches or places of worship and where these contribute to the mental health or wellbeing of followers. It also includes a better standard of living and better equipment to work with. These benefits are demonstrated through the churches which are then able to reach out to their communities and are also able to help others. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose include the development of activities that will lead to a reduction in poverty and deprivation and better conditions e.g. providing human and financial support to communities in need of support. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose include better education, comfort and better materials to work with and a bigger and better opportunity to attend school. The direct benefits which flow from the promotion and preservation of health and saving lives includes the provision of good equipment and a better opportunity to be treated better. In relation to the second purpose, through involvement with our charity members’ horizons are broadened and enhanced by making them aware of the poverty and suffering in the developing world, encouraging them in their fund raising efforts and identifying and providing help to the poor and needy in underprivileged areas of the world. There is no harm or private benefit from the purposes of the organisation.

What your organisation does

The spiritual dimension of apostolic work is what makes it different from many other aid agencies. We are one of the few organisations which actually supports priests, sisters, brothers and catechists in their spiritual and pastoral work. Supporting individuals already working in the area means that no one needs to travel and evaluate the

projects because the missionary knows the exact need of the area and local people. Our aim is to advance Christianity, the relief of poverty, the preservation of health, and advance education. The financial requests are many and varied such as supporting priests, sisters and catechists, buying Mass Kits, and all manner of religious goods and supplies, helping to build churches and supplying miscellaneous medical aids to hospitals and miscellaneous educational and communications aids to schools and orphanages.
