What your organisation does

The principle activities are advancing education and Arts, Culture and Heritage in Ulster-Scots in the Ballymoney area. These are done by providing educational classes in Music and Dance to the general public. We provide the necessary tutors; produce the resource books, workshops and hold the relevant music or dance class in the area. We also

provide for the examination of participants where appropriate in their specialist area. Heritage talks, lectures, workshops, demonstrations and projects also take place to advance knowledge of the Ulster-Scots Diaspora. We also plan larger community events such as a festival, Robert Burns Celebrations, which occur with the focus on increasing knowledge and understanding of the culture and heritage associated with Ulster-Scots to the general public. Finally We participate in debates, open evenings and public meetings in the relation to the promotion of Ulster-Scots Art, Culture and Heritage in the Ballymoney area.
