Public benefits

To advance the Christian Religion in accordance with our Statement of Faith primarily but not exclusively within the Larne area. The Trustees believe that Larne Mission Hall carries out this purpose and provides benefit to the public by: a) Conducting weekly public meetings for Bible teaching and services of worship, prayer and praise. These

meetings are free of charge and open to all. The public benefit arising from these meetings includes spiritual, moral and intellectual development and the provision and availability of Pastoral Care. b) Providing a place and programme for Christian fellowship and social care for the community. Larne Mission Hall as a Church provides services and facilities for the general public as a whole but also for specific sections of the community including parents, babies and toddlers, children, young people and teenagers, adults and the elderly. The public benefit of these services are wide ranging and include everything from providing a safe place for young people to meet to the social development of parents and toddlers or the elderly meeting together. c) Providing visiting speakers and supporting the work of individual Christians and/or other Christian organisations. The public benefit arising from providing donations to and increasing awareness of other charitable organisations is expected to be in accordance with their aims and purposes. The purpose of these donations include the advancement of the Christian faith, relief of poverty and homelessness, education and training. Support is provided to organisations both in Northern Ireland and worldwide. d) Offering spiritual guidance and Biblical teaching on Christian morality and other practical aspects of Christian life. The public benefit of such Biblical teaching includes the promotion of Christian values and family stability which, together with spiritual and moral development, impact positively on society as a whole.
