Public Benefits Requirements 1. The supply of Medical supplies and equipment Direct Benefit: The receipt of Medical Supplies and equipment by charities, hospitals and health providers which are utilised in local settings providing relief, support and benefit to needy individuals Indirect benefit : Information, advice and support to medical

staff to enable them to provide care to those in need of assistance treatment or rehabilitation. Increased learning, development and training to health providers, doctors, nurses, surgeons etc... and opportunities for them to provide improved care within their local communities. Direct & Indirect Benefit : Sourcing and networking to provide medical and professional volunteers to assist/practice in areas as required to help local medical professionals and pass on their knowledge and expertise where needed. Patients benefit directly form this 'hands on' support and assistance. Wider Benefit: Communities in the areas assisted have access to improved medical care. Medical professionals are able to provide better care than they would otherwise be able to, benefiting society as a whole. 2. The relief of poverty, stress and suffering Direct Benefit: The provision of various goods and materials delivered to various orphanages and mental health facilities e.g. children's toys, playground equipment, educational items, first aid materials, creams, soaps, shampoos, nappies, disinfectant, various cleaning materials, clothes etc... Children and adults in these facilities gain direct benefit from the receipt of these goods when distributed to them. Indirect Benefit: Money saved from the orphanages budget by not having to purchase these materials can be redirected into the education of the children. Wider Benefit: Improved living conditions and hygiene for children, adult patients, staff and visitors. Wider Benefit: Mutually beneficial relationships are forged and developed between the local communities being assisted and volunteers, which leads to ongoing projects and support. 3. Conflict Resolution Direct Benefit: Bridges are built between communities and relationships created and developed, which helps lead to opportunities for individuals and communities to experience greater peace and stability. It also enable individuals to have input into their local communities and help shape their own futures. Indirect Benefit: Volunteers with experience in conflict resolution can share their expertise. Individuals with no previous experience have opportunities to share their stories and all learn from each other. Opportunities are sought to introduce learning, special projects and ongoing support for individuals and within communities. Wider Benefit: Opportunities for improved standards of living within communities; greater opportunities for work and for investment from outside; hope for the future. Harm Each purpose detailed above has no harm connected to it. All purposes are positive, helpful and designed to help. Private Benefit There are no private benefits attached to any purpose except those that are necessary or incidental e.g. office and warehouse charges for telephone, heating and lighting

What your organisation does

We supply consumables and used medical equipment to needy causes around the world. We purchase hygiene products, cleaning supplies, First Aid Kits, soaps, shampoos, new shoes and underwear for state orphanages in The Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic. We supply medicine and medical consumables, food, water, wheelchairs, hospital beds, mattresses

intensive care monitors, X-ray machines, ultrasonic scanners and C-arm scanners. We collect refurbished wheelchairs and bicycles from the NI Prison Service and send them to areas around the world that would benefit from them. We pro-actively network with other charities and organisations and assist groups who wish to become involved in charitable causes. We provide help and advice on areas they wish to visit; we help identify projects for them to take ownership of; provide advice on setting up and maintaining projects and generally offer assistance and support as required. We also assist people and organisations within Northern Ireland by identifying areas of need, communicating with other charities and organisations to become aware of their needs and sharing our resources to provide solutions.

Charitable purposes

The company’s objects (“Objects) are specifically restricted to the following: To relieve poverty and promote the protection and preservation of health in any part of the world (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) by associating the statutory authorities and voluntary organisations in a common effort for the relief of human suffering, sickness and distress and in particular: (a) To provide, or assist in the provision of medical equipment, supplies and humanitarian aid to hospitals, medical centres and orphanages in impoverished areas of the world; (b) To provide and co-ordinate volunteers to work overseas and in Northern Ireland and Ireland to support the work of the company; (c) Ancillary to the primary objects, assist hospitals and health trusts in Northern Ireland and Ireland with the protection of the environment through the recycling and redistribution of medical equipment and supplies; (d) To advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the directors may, from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
