What your organisation does

We meet on a fortnightly basis. On our regular club nights we play bowls, pool, curling, table football, netball, beanbag throwing at a target with holes, drawing, Four in a row as well as other games which bring all members together. These include, Setting the Fashion, horse racing, Murder (not literally), as well as musical games. We have brought

along someone to do Scottish dancing. She has been excellent involving wheelchair users. There are times when we have brought someone to talk on healthy eating, a magician etc. During the year we may attend a Pantomime, a concert, have a BBQ, go on a day out, take members Christmas shopping. At Easter and Hallowe'en we invite other Learning Disability groups to a party on our premises. Members have a meal out after our Day Trip and also have a Christmas dinner together. Music plays a great part in our activities and we usually finish off with some musical activities.
