Public benefits
That through knowledge of the Triune God of Scripture people will be converted and others who are already converted, will be edified, along with their families both in the local congregation, the mission in Limerick and all around the world. We would expect the beneficiaries to increasingly demonstrate godly lives, cohesive families and experience
the love, joy, peace, patience and self-control of the Christian faith, be upright citizens, bring up their children in the fear of God and be salt and light in society. Our church ought to also bring people of different backgrounds, race and social status together. How would this be demonstrated? By feedback from the beneficiaries and statistical accounts of downloads on internet. Feedback demonstrating benefit includes many appreciative letters, emails, phone calls, Facebook messages, etc., from N. Ireland, the rest of the UK, Europe and worldwide thanking us for our books, CDs, DVDs, free pamphlets, monthly Covenant Reformed News, on-line articles, many translations into several dozen languages, audios, YouTube videos, etc., as well as financial donations. These help not only individuals but also families and groups of believers in fellowships and churches. Children born in our congregation and in our mission work are brought up in the Christian faith with the aim of seeing them becoming professing members of the Church. Who is the benefit for? The charity's beneficiaries are potentially members of the general public locally in and around Ballymena, in Limerick, and all around the world but specifically members of the local congregation, the mission and Reformed believers, sympathisers or seekers after truth around the world. Is there any private benefit? The minister is paid from the charity and travel and necessary expenses are paid to office-bearers. There is no potential harm relating to our purposes of spreading the Word of God.
