Purpose 1 - the advancement of religion The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include helping to preserve Islamic identity, to promote the spiritual, social, educational, recreational, psychological and physical well being of all members. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries of this purpose are children and
adults migrated from over 42 countries and those who have been born in Northern Ireland with an Islamic heritage. These benefits are evidenced through community feedback. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose. Purpose 2 – the advancement of education The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include an increase of children and adults from the Muslim community in education which improves literacy, learning cultural awareness and educates the children and adults on how to integrate with other communities. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries of this purpose are children and adults migrated from more than 42 different countries and those who have been born in Northern Ireland with an Islamic heritage. These benefits are evidenced through community feedback. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose. Purpose 3 – the advancement of citizenship or community development The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include an increase of a better educated Muslim community in Northern Ireland who are aware of culture, integration, empowerment, up - skilling and capacity building. These benefits can be demonstrated through community feedback. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries of Northern Ireland Muslim Family Association are both the Muslim community and the wider community by building good community relations through social integration.
