Public benefits
The benefits that flow from this purpose include raising public awareness of dangers in the home along with providing advice and information aimed at addressing the dangers concerning fire or poisonous fumes. Our sole purpose as an organisation is to ensure the General Public benefit from the services we provide. Our aims and objectives are to
ensure the general public are aware of the dangers of fire and by the advancement of education to help prevent the risk of fire throughout their daily routines or during Holiday periods like Halloween / Christmas in particular. The organisation aims to boost the morale of retired or injured fire fighters and their families by comradeship, the provision of practical assistance and the addressing of real needs (particularly as a result of the years of service during the Troubles). These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from the service users. There is no harm flowing from the purposes of Northern Ireland Ex-Firefighters Mid Ulster Association The beneficiaries would primarily be the ex-firefighters and their families but also the general public through the outreach work that the group does. There is no private benefit flowing from the purposes of Northern Ireland Ex-Firefighters Mid Ulster Association.
