1. Grace Generation runs 'The Storehouse' - Banbridge Community Foodbank in co-operation with several other churches. Food is donated and then distributed to families in need who are referred by Social Services, Health Visitors, GPs, Citizens Advice etc. We also run a 'not for profit' Coffee House which operates on a donation basis - we don't
charge for anything, which makes it affordable for all. We also supply people in need with second hand furniture, cookers etc. 2. We run a schools programme whereby members of Grace Generation take Citizenship classes, focusing on issues like self-esteem, self-worth and anti human trafficking etc. In January 2015 we are starting to work with local Primary and High Schools in Banbridge, taking assemblies, various classes, SU meetings etc. 3. Grace Generation operates as a church for the advancement of the christian religion, holding weekly Sunday services and various other events, meetings and activities for all ages at various times during the week and also providing pastoral care for those in need. 4. We have a strong local community focus and have run various community based events throughout the year such as our Community Fun Night, Halloween and Christmas. Our Coffee House has also become a community hub with regular attendees and some volunteers serving from the local community. 5. We hold dance classes and promote various performing arts. 6. We promote Human Rights through our work raising awareness of the issue of Human Trafficking and we have a close working relationship with some local MLAs and MPs with regard to this issue. Grace generation is also non-denominational and non-sectarian and therefore can appeal to all sections of our community and we seek to promote healthy cross community relationships. 7. We are keen to help anyone in any kind of need and currently we run a CAP (Christians Against Poverty) programme which seeks to help those in financial need.
