The public benefits from our organisation are: - the quality of life for local inhabitants will be bettered by their access to the services we offer - rural isolation will be addressed through bringing people together in a local, accessible setting offering activities of social, learning and cultural interest - inter-generational interaction is

facilitated and encouraged - personal development through social interaction, recreation, physical activities and educational opportunity are offered. What are the benefits we offer? The benefits that will be delivered from our services are: Improved standard of living for local people Improved levels of education and confidence for local people Improved levels of health and fitness for local people Improved levels of skills in art & crafts and improved knowledge of culture for local people Improved levels of information for local people in topics of their request Improved social interaction for local people and reduction in feelings of isolation These benefits will be demonstrated by: Measurement of numbers of local people taking up on our services On-going feedback from and consultation with local people on how our services are benefitting them Review of on-going demand from local people for us to continue and grow our range of services to them The benefits we will offer local people will be beneficial, not harmful in any way. Who benefits from our services The benefits we offer will be to the general public within our catchment area, which approximates to an area covering a radius of 10 miles from Corran Community Hall. Our range of benefits will target certain sections of the local population, depending on the services being offered, for example Senior Citizens Lunches will benefit the older members of our community, Children’s Events (disco, cinema) will benefit younger members of our community, Health/Fitness events will benefit all age-groups. We will not provide a private benefit to any individuals.

Our organisation organises and delivers a range of social, educational and leisure activites including:- - guest teas and dances - arts and crafts courses - music lessons - family centre for family functions (parties, fundraising events, after funeral refreshments)

Charitable purposes

The Association is established to promote the social welfare of the inhabitants of the Corran area of Co Armagh and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to combat poverty, to advance education, to provide facilities for the recreation or other leisure time occupation of the inhabitants, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
