Public benefits

BCC first and foremost is a church committed to the advancement of religion for every person regardless of nationality, gender, race or age. The direct benefits which flow from our purpose include… better understanding of Bangor community church as a local church who promotes the gospel of Jesus Christ while demonstrating by teaching and example

how through Christ, to life a godly and moral life in today’s society. These benefits are evidenced through vocal feedback. Visitors feedback cards, numbers steadily increasing and a rise in church membership. There is no private benefit and no possibility of harm.

What your organisation does

BCC works with many different peer groups in the public sector. We have provision in place for young people from 11 to 18 in the form of a weekly youth club and yearly summer camps. This is open to any child of this age. We hold weekly Sunday school for younger children. We run events for both men and women which are open to the public. We run

a benevolent outreach program to the disadvantaged in every sector of the community. Where we see a need we aim to fill by whatever means we have available. As a church we are open every day except for Saturday, and operate an open door policy. We turn no one away if it is in our power to help them and if we cannot help we will try and find someone who can.
