Purpose: To aid in the maintenance and education of orphan children one or both of whose parents have been members or adherents of a Congregational Church in Ireland. The orphan children will benefit from the use of the grant(s) provided to advance their education and reduce their chances of falling into poverty. This benefit is monitored by the
minister if the church nomination the orphans as beneficiaries of the grants. There is no anticipated harm in the provision of the grants. The beneficiaries are children where one or more of their parents have died and were members or adherents of a Congregational Church in Ireland. There is no private benefit involved in the scheme.
