To present the challenge of the Gospel. The direct benefit is meeting the spiritual needs of the people of Northern Ireland and providing them with Christian Guidance. This is demonstrated through fellowship and hearing accounts of how people’s lives have been changed and improved as a result of the charity. There is no identifiable harm relating

to the charity’s purpose. The charity’s beneficiaries are the people living in Northern Ireland. There are no identifiable private benefits.

What your organisation does

The charity operates a bookshop, any profits are used to fund the work of missionaries in their presentation of the Gospel. There are regular deputation meetings held which provide the missionaries with a platform to relay accounts of how people's lives have been changed through hearing the Gospel.

Charitable purposes

The Trustees shall hold the property, capital and income of the Trust Fund upon trust and for such charitable purposes designed for the advancement of any one or more of the following objects and in such manner as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall from time to time determine namely: a) the objects of the I.E.B Charity are the advancement of Evangelism in Ireland and occasionally in other countries and in particular the religious Charitable purposes for the propagation of the Gospel of the Jesus Christ and the fulfilment of Christ's great commission "go ye into all world and preach the Gospel," being the primary objective in accordance with the doctrine set out in schedule 2 hereto. b) The objectives of I.E.B Charity as based upon an interdenominational and non sectarian mission. c) The support by contribution loan, gifts, subscription or otherwise of any religious or other charitable institution or work which shall be established maintained for similar religious charitable purposes to those declared in this deed and any such payment so made to be applied solely for such religious charitable purposes.
