Public benefits
As a charity, Eastern European Inasmuch Trust is interested in the lives and souls of people. For the years of its existence, EEIT has sought to bring what limited help it can to the land of Romania in particular. We measure needs as relative to the situation on hand and seek to supply that need, whenever possible and appropriate to do so.
Supplying a need may mean issuing one person with a bicycle but someone else with a motor car. It may mean providing maintenance to one family home, while helping to construct a new home for another family. EEIT works with trusted contacts in Romania. Together we discuss situations as they emerge, investigating and then deciding together on the best strategy to implement help. As a Christian organisation, we believe what the Scriptures teach in Colossians chp.1 verse 16; For by Him (Jesus Christ) all things were created .... All things were created through Him and for Him. We endeavour to encourage people to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and we do this through telling them the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and so we encourage people to read and study the Bible. Relieving the pressure that poverty can bring is always something that EEIT seeks to do. We have always been of the opinion that where there is a genuine need, if possible, that need should be met. The Old Testament character, Job, stated: I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame. I was a father to the needy; I took up the case of the stranger; Job 29 v’s15, 16. We look out for needs and in the name of Jesus Christ, try to serve those needs. The benefit flowing from purposes 1, 2 and 3 includes beneficiaries have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; enhanced and better relationships within the community; increased understanding of the Christian faith and promotion of a moral framework encouraging people to be good citizens. The benefit flowing from purpose 4 includes improved living standards, increased farming production through improved farming methods, and advancement into higher education of students, through receiving sponsorship. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from our beneficiaries and the wider community, including schools. The beneficiaries of our purposes are people in need of our assistance in Romania. We do not deem harm will arise from the purposes of EEIT, but rather we believe the opposite to be true. None of the Trustees of EEIT benefit financially in any way from the organisation. No personal expenses are extracted from the funds of the charity, which are only used for beneficiaries.

Most of the focus of EEIT presently is in assisting with Christian based work in Romania. EEIT assists with summer camps for boys and girls. Sick people are enabled to receive much needed medical treatment through the help of the trust, which they would otherwise be unable to afford. The trust also sponsors children to go to high school, which
would be impossible without such help.
