Public benefits
1. Purpose: "To offer members of the public prayer for healing together with the laying on of hands and anointing/blessing with oil at regular weekly services in the Greater Belfast area and, by invitation, throughout Northern Ireland." 2. What benefit flows? Members of the public receive comfort from the welcoming and non-judgemental atmosphere at
the healing services. Further comfort can be had by electing to receive anointing with oil and an opportunity to explain to some members of the Healing Team any problems or issues you, a member of your family, a friend, a colleague etc is faced with, and receive prayer and the laying on of hands. 3. Can you demonstrate this? IDHM regularly gets feedback of benefits received from receiving prayer, anointing and laying on of hands. Refer to the Testimonies section of the IDHM website: http://divinehealingministries.org/Testimonial.aspx 4. Any harm? Offering prayer does not lead to harm - members of the public elect to attend, largely based on word-of-mouth recommendation and invariably draw comfort and support from the atmosphere. 5. Whom for? The public of Northern Ireland. 6. Private benefit: There is no private benefit in the sense of monetary or commercial benefit. The Trustees and members of the trained Healing Team of course get great spiritual benefit from their selfless giving of their time and energy to help members of the public.
