Public benefits

Purpose 1 – to relieve poverty, sickness and distress, promote and preserve good health and advance education amongst children and young people within the area of benefit who are orphaned, neglected, impoverished or otherwise in need by the provision of funds and goods or services of any kind. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose

include improved facilities and training opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people. These benefits will be evidenced through feedback from our beneficiaries in the form of an annual report and a written evaluation of the services being supported. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. Purpose 2 – to promote the benefit of aforesaid children and young people within the area of benefit and education and assist young people through their leisure-time activities to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose includes children and young people engaged in activities that enhance their physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. These benefits will be evidenced through feedback from our partners on the number of children and young people engaged in planned activities and an evaluation of the benefits received through their participation. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. Purpose 3 – to provide assistance and financial aid to support the charitable work of El Shaddai Charitable Trust, India and/or the charitable purposes of any other organisation or project which benefits children and/or young people in necessitous circumstances within the area of benefit. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the financial assistance required to support charitable work among disadvantaged children and young people. These benefits will be evidenced through financial and project reports and the annual reports from our beneficiaries. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. These benefits will be evidenced through financial and project reports and the annual reports from our beneficiaries and written evaluations of the services being supported, feedback from our partners on the number of young people engaged in planned activities and evaluation of the benefits received through their participation. The beneficiaries of are charitable organisations anywhere in the world established to relieve poverty, sickness, distress and promote and preserve good health and advance education amongst children and young people within the area of benefit who are orphaned, neglected, impoverished or otherwise in need by the provision of funds and goods or services of any kind including the provision and support of orphanages and other facilities and services for children who are orphaned, abandoned or neglected and by the provision of schools and vocational training programmes. The purposes of our charity do not lead to harm. The only private benefit flowing from the purposes is a private benefit to Trustees that may arise from assigned training in good governance, finance etc. Through this training Trustees may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings and this is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

Charitable purposes

The Charity is established to relieve poverty, sickness and distress, promote and preserve good health and advance education amongst children and young people within the area of benefit who are orphaned, neglected, impoverished or otherwise in need by the provision of funds and goods or services of any kind: including the provision and support of orphanages and other facilities and services for children who are orphaned, abandoned or neglected by the provision of schools and vocational training programmes; 3.2 to promote the benefit of aforesaid children and young people within the area of benefit and educate and assist young people through their leisure-time activities to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved; 3.3 to provide assistance and financial aid to support the charitable work of El Shaddai Charitable Trust, India and/or the charitable purposes of any other organisation or project which benefits children and/or young people in necessitous circumstances within the area of benefit; to further such other exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees shall in their discretion think fit.
