Purpose – “The objects of the association are the relief of people with disabilities by the enhancement of opportunities for such people by promoting access to training and employment”. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose include (1) that disabled employees in Northern Ireland are able to avoid sickness absence and remain in employment,
(2) that disabled people in Northern Ireland have better access to training and employment opportunities and (3) that disabled people in Northern Ireland have better access to services. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from disability organisations that support disabled people and employers who offer training and employment, as well as through an audit of employers every three years. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm or private benefit which is more than incidental.
