What your organisation does

Carrick Hill Residents Association’s (CHRA) ongoing operational endeavours attend to many of the descriptions of ‘charitable purposes’ as defined by the Charities Act 2006. Given our geographical location and local need, all of our activity is designed to address, alleviate and resolve many of these issues and we run education, health awareness,

confidence and capacity building programmes, projects and support services to address some of the social issues such as education, training and employment deprivation and health and disability deprivation in our area. Youth and childcare programmes, with a particular emphasis on positive citizenship, peace and reconciliation and identity are at the core of our planning and programme delivery and we also own and manage a community gym that allows local people to engage in physical activity at an affordable cost.
