The encouragement of new skills helps encourage employment. Benefits
are evidenced through feedback from beneficiaries and their families, community groups, key stakeholders, parents & carers. This purpose does not give rise to any harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in Northern Ireland. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our programme of ongoing training in good governance, finance etc. through this training trustees gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These skills are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to the beneficiaries

PEAT provides in house training and tailor made programmes to meet the needs of parent groups and specific organisations including: 1. Recurrent home visits to families of children with autism province-wide. 2. Parent
training. 3. Supervised play sessions on a monthly basis for children with autism and their siblings. 4. Social Skills groups for young people with autism province-wide. 5. Professional training. 6. Consultancy and advice.
