THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE PURPOSE ARE 3-4 YEAR OLD CHILDREN IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY (SERVING THREE ELECTROL WARDS CLEENISH, LETTERBREEN AND BOHO IN CO. FERMANAGH) THE DIRECT BENEFIT WHICH FLOWS FROM THE PURPOSE IS THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION TO CHILDREN UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE. THIS BENEFIT IS EVIDENCED THROUGH FEEDBACK FROM PARENTS/CARERS AND

INSPECTIONS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, SOCIAL SERVICES AND THE EARLY YEARS ORGANISATION. THE CHILDREN ATTENDING TINY TOTS PLAYGROUP BENEFIT BY: • BEING BETTER PREPARED FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL • HAVING AN INCREASED KNOWLEDGE AS THEY LEARN ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND THEM, MATHS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, REASONING AND LANGUAGE. • THEY GET TO INTEGRATE WITH OTHER CHILDREN AND LEARN VALUABLE SOCIAL SKILLS, DEVELOP POSITIVE ATTITUDES TOWARDS THEMSELVES AND TO OTHERS. • THEY DEVELOP SELF CONFIDENCE, CREATIVITY AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. THIS PURPOSE DOES NOT LEAD TO ANY HARM. THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE IS MADE UP OF PARENTS OF CHILDREN WHO ATTEND THE PLAYGROUP BUT THIS PRIVATE BENEFIT IS INCIDENTAL IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE CHARITY'S PURPOSE.

What your organisation does

Tiny Tots Cross Community Playgroup provides a stimulating, safe and caring play based environment where children can have fun while learning. We operate in line with the Department Of Education for Northern Ireland (DENI) guidelines as set out under the six areas of learning; Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Language Development,

Physical Development and Movement, The Arts, Early Mathematical Experiences and The World Around Us. In providing these activities we aim to be positive role models and to follow guidelines which will ensure equality of opportunity to all children and their families whilst meeting the individual needs of each child to give them the confidence to develop new skills.

Charitable purposes

The Group is established to promote play based learning environments for all children under statutory school age, (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) of the and its surrounding environs in County Fermanagh. (hereinafter called the 'area of benefit') without distinction of age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and in particular: to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group; and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries; and to support the principles and values of Early Years.
