The advancement of Education The direct benefits which flow from FCC’s purpose stated above include better linkages and access for citizens to educators including schools and colleges, community education and alternative education facilities. Citizens will also benefit from support for those seeking to access any of the above education
systems. These benefits will be demonstrated through feedback from clients who avail of the services of FCC and also from feedback from local educators including schools, colleges, community education and alternative education establishments. The advancement of Citizenship and Community Development The direct benefits which flow from the purpose above include better access for citizens to institutions and services of the state and other statutory agencies. Benefits will also include empowering local communities to become involve in issues that affect their general day to day living. These benefits will be demonstrated through monitoring and evaluation of client feedback and feedback from external organisations/services. The advancement of Health The direct benefits which flow from the purpose above include the promotion of health and wellbeing services to the citizens of the area. This will be done through the provision of Falls Community Council Health and Well Being Services and through signposting to other external Health and Wellbeing Services. These benefits will be demonstrated through monitoring and evaluation of client feedback and feedback from external organisations/services. It is likely that there would be no harm flowing from the purposes. The charity’s beneficiaries are the people of Falls Road and its environs, without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. The only private benefit flowing form the purposes are that members of the board may receive training in good governance for other related issues and this is incidental and necessary because it will ensure the benefit is provide to our beneficiaries. These skills maybe transferrable to other charitable organisations.
