They also include improved understanding and opportunities to speak with specialists, have outstanding questions answered and improved awareness of the condition, courses of treatment and sources of information. These benefits are

demonstrated through attendance & feedback from group members including sufferers and their families and feedback from local doctors and other health professionals. This purpose does not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in Northern Ireland who have been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. The charity’s beneficiaries also include family members and carers of those who are diagnosed with Sarcoidosis.

A summary of its key objectives: • To provide mutual support to its members: o For all people with Sarcoidosis, family, friends and carers from all sections of the community. • To provide information and education to its members: o Through organising guest speakers and providing literature provided by ISARC & British Lung Foundation. • To promote

the condition & the group: o To raise awareness locally of the condition & the group amongst health professionals, sufferers and their families.

Charitable purposes

To promote the relief of those in need by reason of ill health, namely persons suffering from the condition sarcoidosis in particular by (a) providing information about sarcoidosis to patients, relatives, healthcare professionals and members of the public; (b) improving the quality of life of sufferers from sarcoidosis by assisting with measures intended to bring about an alleviation of the condition; in the Fermanagh area and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") Without distinction of age, sex, political, religious or other opinion, by association with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
