Reduction in social isolation by giving people the opportunity to get out to social events, improved health and wellbeing, becoming more mobile through physical activities such as dances, learning new skills through for instance computer and photography skills These benefits are

demonstrated through... Questionnaires following events or visits and listening to feedback both positive and negative to allow us to ensure the benefits are appropriate and adjust our activities if necessary The charity’s beneficiaries are.... Those living in the Cranagh and Aghagallon areas particularly the older people of the area. There is no harm flowing from our purposes. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is training for volunteers and trustees in areas such as risk assessments and working with vulnerable adults which increases their experience but this is incidental and necessary to ensure the proper running of the organisation

Charitable purposes

The association is established to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Cranagh and Aghagallon and its environs (hereinafter called the ‘area of benefit’) without distinction or different religious belief, political opinion, racial group, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to improve the conditions of life for the said inhabitants, as well as community relations in general, and in particular: a) To promote the benefit of older people in the area of benefit, to relieve poverty and to promote the good health of older people, to develop a support network and to provide recreational and leisure time facilities for older people.
