Public benefits
The direct benefit which flows from purpose 1 includes an improved quality of life for the orphans and vulnerable children of Mufulira through the provision of accommodation, clothes, food, and emotional support; the improvement of the life chances of the children supported by the orphanage through the provision of funding for education and a
caring and nurturing establishment where they are taught life skills to equip them to live independent lives as skilled and productive citizens who are self-sufficient when they reach adulthood; the establishment of sustainable projects eg banana plantation and farming projects which enable the children and young adults to learn valuable life skills such as farming skills and money management and develop their potential to live as independent, self-sustaining adults. This is evidenced by the establishment of the orphanage and the increased number of children supported by the orphanage; the increasing number of children who leave the orphanage with a formal education and are self-motivated young adults capable of independent living; and by the successful banana harvest each year which is used to buy provisions for the orphanage. The direct benefit from Purpose 2 is to encourage an increased knowledge and understanding of Christian principles and their relevance and application to everyday life which will empower the young people to live socially and morally conscious lives. The benefits are evidenced by the positive feedback from the children who have lived at the orphanage as well as the increased number of children who seek to live within Biblical principles. The direct benefit from Purpose 3 is to enable the Charity to grow and develop as funding become available to include other Charitable Purposes, eg the advancement of citizenship or community development, and further improve the quality of life for the people of Mufulira. This benefit is evidenced by the growing work of Mufulira Orphaned Children. The beneficiaries of all our purposes are the orphans of the Mufulira area. These purposes do not lead to harm. I can confirm there is no private benefit.

Mufulira Orphaned children provide a place of safety for the orphans and vulnerable children of the Mufulira area. Mufulira Orphaned Children seeks to meet the physical, educational, social and spiritual needs of the orphans and children. These needs are brought about as a result of financial hardship and Mufulira Orphaned Children seeks to
provide accommodation, clothes, food, funding for education and emotional support to the orphans and vulnerable children of the Mufulira area. Mufulira Orphaned Children seeks to communicate Christian principles, through church and bible class activities, to these children and young people in the belief that this knowledge will equip the children to mature and develop into active and productive members of society who will strive to live within the boundaries of Christian morals. The young people are also taught Christian principles and their practical application to their personal lives. Mufulira Orphaned Children provides support for the young people to become involved in self sufficiency projects such as a banana plantation and maintaining a chicken stock. These projects teach the young people practical skills and also ensure a small income for the Mufulira Orphanage. Mufulira Orphaned Children provides financial assistance to young people from the Orphanage for their education and also assists financially those who progress into Higher Education.
