(annual) d) Welcome meetings for new members. (biannual) e) Anecdotal discussion between Trustees and Members. The Trustees perceive NO HARM arising from our activities. b) The payment of speakers. These are incidental and necessary to achieve our purpose.

Belfast U3A provide a broad range of activities (more than 30) for our members. Examples of these are: Pilates, Walking, Military History, Art Appreciation, Craft, Bridge, Philosophy, Theatre/Concert outings and Discussion groups. Most of our activities are facilitated and taught by our own members.(volunteers). We also arrange a General
monthly meeting for all members to discuss activities/plans and to hear a stimulating Guest Speaker. These talks reflect our members' interests. For example: local history, personal achievements, Health Related topics as well as Cultural issues. On a regular basis we arrange specific outings to places of interest such as Museums and Galleries( for the Art lovers), and Private and Public Gardens ( for the Gardeners). Also Theatre and Cinema outings are arranged for concerts, films, drama etc. Members of our U3A also participate in Regional events such as Quizzes, Talks and Special Events. We provide each member with a Monthly Newsletter which outlines the following months activities.
