Public benefits
The direct benefits deriving from the organisations purpose includes improvement of the quality of life for residents, improved services to and in the area, clean and tidy estate and a well maintained and settled area. The beneficiaries of this purpose are those primarily who live in Loughgilly and includes visitors to the area. The benefit can
be demonstrated by feedback from the residents, visitors and statutory agencies who work in partnership with the Residents Association. A private benefit may arise to trustees in developing their skills and experience through the many opportunities to access training. These benefits are incidental and crucial for effective community development and engagement thus ensuring the benefits are passed on to the beneficiaries.
