Darragh Foundation Trust Introduction As a registered charity the Darragh Foundation Trust is committed to demonstrating the benefits its work provides for individuals, communities and the wider public. This statement sets out the aims, mission and strategic objectives of the Trust, outlines the beneficiaries the Trust serves and the impact and

benefits it provides. Our Aims and Objectives The Darragh Foundation Trust is established to further the gospel of Jesus Christ and to relieve poverty and suffering throughout the World. Particular emphasis will be on two areas in the World namely Kenya and Northern Ireland. The Foundation will achieve the above objective by:- 1. Partnering other charities with similar objectives. 2. Providing grants to individuals and organisations to support education and training. 3. Providing Grants and support to assist the relief of poverty and suffering. 4. Encouraging and supporting others in the practical help for the poor and disadvantaged. 5. Undertake programs to promote maintain, assist finance and support institutions that are intended to help infirm individuals. 6. Promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of sufferers of Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Chest Heart and Stoke in Northern Ireland through the provision of financial assistance, support, education and practical advice. Our Beneficiaries The Trust is dedicated to the relief of poverty and suffering throughout the World together with the promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and uses works through education, training, practical help, providing grants, undertaking programs to achieve this objective. Beneficiaries will include • Men, Women Boys and Girls who are suffering from poverty. • Men, Women Boys and Girls who are suffering from Disease attributable to Poverty. • Men, Women Boys and Girls suffering from Alzheimer’s Cancer, Chest Heart and Stroke in Northern Ireland The Public Benefit we provide The Trust is committed to ensuring that it delivers: • Improved levels of education targeted at those in poverty and suffering with the aim of reducing poverty and suffering. • Benefits improved public health within Northern Ireland through promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of those suffering from Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Chest Heart and Stroke. • Provides relief to the lives of individuals who are in poverty and suffering which in turn contributes to society generally. • Supports Institutions that help the infirm. How we measure the benefit we provide The Trust measures the impact of its work in a number of ways, primarily using feedback from beneficiaries and by conducting surveys and interviews with beneficiaries. The Trust recognises that in certain exceptional circumstances the application of resources to provide an intended benefit may in some circumstances lead to a risk or harm to the intended beneficiaries which outweighs the benefit, in such circumstances and based on the feedback received from beneficiaries the Trust will review, monitor and modify its activities in order to comply with its Aims and Objectives. Limitation on Private Benefits The income and property of the Trust shall be applied solely towards the promotion of its objects. No part of the Income and Property may be paid or transferred directly or indirectly to any Trustee of the Trust. This shall not prevent any payment in good faith by the Trust for the reasonable and proper remuneration for services supplied to the Trust including services performed by a Trustee under a contract of employment.
