Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from this purpose will ease poverty and improve health outcomes, reduce levels of stress and anxiety and the relief of hunger. These benefits will be demonstrated through feedback and will be comprised in the annual report. By providing donated food there is a risk of unintended side effects from allergies however
it is intended that to minimise any risk each volunteer will check and advise the public when food donations are handed out. The Trustees believe that the benefit outweighs any potential harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living within the Foyle constituency and surrounding areas irrespective of their religious, ethnic, gender, gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation, race, colour, nationality, religion, age, disability or political beliefs. The Charity’s beneficiaries also include the family members of those who receive the food donations. There will be no private benefit flowing from the Charity’s purposes.
