Purpose 1: by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for the advancement of education, The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: increased knowledge; increased skill levels; participants gain accreditation or qualification, increased level of social interaction; more employable. These benefits will be evidenced

by certificate of accreditation; attendance sheets; evaluation forms; word of mouth feedback, increased participation in other classes/social activities within their communities; women going into employment or volunteering opportunities We do not anticipate any harm leading from the purposes of our charity. The charity’s beneficiaries are women and families in the Omagh District Council area The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is than a trustee will gain skills and knowledge through our education programme. Through this trustees gain skills which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose 2: by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for the protection and preservation of health and for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: increased awareness of health benefits; improved physical and emotional well being; make more informed health choices for themselves and family members; increased skill levels; increased level of social interaction. These benefits will be evidenced by attendance sheets; evaluation forms; word of mouth feedback, participants avail of other relevant services such as Women’s Aid, Advice Services; health professional records of improved health; Occasionally the group organise physical activities wherein a user might injure themselves. These would have a tutor leading the activity and to minimise harm we ask the tutor for insurance cover and a pre-assessment check with participants before the activity commences. Likewise in our counselling services and other activities our professionals have insurance cover. The charity’s beneficiaries are are women and families in the Omagh District Council area. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is a trustee will gain skills and knowledge through our health programme. A trustee may be paid to deliver services however they are procured openly to secure value for money and are not involved in any decisions in relation to the procurement. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

Omagh Women's Area Network offers following programmes & activities for all women in Omagh District Council area. ? Information, support and guidance on issues relevant to women of all ages. ? Listening Ear Service ? Referral system available to Counselling Services and to other relevant organisations ? Educational, recreational programmes to

build confidence, skills, and increase knowledge. ? Health Awareness programmes to improved the health & wellbeing of women and their families. ? Carry out surveys and consultations with statutory and voluntary organisations on the need and issues of women. ? Provides capacity building support to women's groups in ODC area. ? Hosts an annual International Women's Day event. ? Promotes social inclusion of local women through our Community Leadership Programme which enables women to participate locally in decision-making which impacts on them and their families. ? Networks and links with other Community & Voluntary organisations in area.

The Company is established for the benefit of women in the Omagh area of Northern Ireland (hereinafter described as the 'area of benefit') by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for the advancement of education, protection and preservation of health, and for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the -object of improving the conditions of life of the said women.
