The direct benefit which flow from the purpose of: The advancement of Health The direct benefit that flows from this purpose is the improvement of mental and physical health for women living in areas of multiple deprivation. We relief stress, depression and anxiety through improved health services such as specialised women advice, counselling,
complimentary therapies, life coaching and stress management programmes, creative arts, physical activities such as Yoga and keep fit programmes. The advancement of Education The direct benefit that flows from this purpose is the improvement of education and personal development for women living in areas of multiple deprivation through accredited and non-accredited training and education programmes. The benefits of Falls Women’s Centre services are evidence through annual report, quarterly statistics and monitoring and evaluations. We evidence the individual benefit of women using our services by way of quantitative and qualitative data collected through feedback forms, comment sheets, evaluations forms. All data is presented in a published annual report and through quarterly returns to funders. There is no harm flowing from the purposes. The charities beneficiaries are women, children and young people. There is no private benefit flowing to people within Falls Women’s Centre who are not the intended beneficiaries. There may be incidental and necessary benefit to trustees such as general overall staff and trustees training or specific training in finance and personnel to ensure good practice in terms of governance.

Falls Women's Centre/Ionad ban na bhFál have developed policy, practice and services aimed at supporting the most vulnerable members of our community breaking down the cycle of social and economic exclusion, violence, poverty and isolation. Through the provision of women specific targeted measures such as counselling, childcare, one to one support,
advice, advocacy, health & well-being, training and education delivered at a community level we help build the capacity of women living in disadvantaged communities. Falls Women’s Centre constitution clearly states that women in the area of benefit namely Greater West Belfast shall be eligible for membership of the Group regardless of age, nationality, religion or political affiliation etc. In effect any woman can become a member of the Falls Women’s Centre. We hold an open door policy. We hold an annual general meeting electing members onto the board. Elected committee members become Company Directors of the organisation through our Company Limited by Guarantee. No Director is represented by an organisation. The Falls Women’s Centre/Ionad ban na bhFál bhFál was the first of its kind in the area and has continually worked to raise awareness within the community and statutory agencies on issues and needs that affect women’s lives. These needs are not static but change and evolve as communities themselves change and evolve over time.
