The charity's beneficiaries are the Widows of deceased members of the various Orange Lodges within the jurisdiction of the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge. The benefit is not confined only to members who subscribed the Annual fee to the Fund and the Widow of any member of a Lodge within the above jurisdiction may be awarded a Grant, if applied for by the Lodge to whom the deceased belonged.
