Public benefits

Our purpose is to benefit the broad community of Northern Ireland by mounting a series of public events geared to: 1. Bringing Stormont Down from the Hill – Presenting the public with the opportunity to meet with prominent elected politicians in order to engage in direct and free debate. The direct benefits which flow from these public debates

include activating an increased interest in public/community affairs and should thus raise the voter participation. These benefits will be demonstrated by the number of feedback responses from the members of the general public who attend these “town hall” debates and the panellists. 2. Activating increased interest in public community affairs through direct contact and thus raising the rate of voter participation in the province; The direct benefits which flow from these public debates include activating an increased interest in public/community affairs and should thus raise the voter participation. Developing a rapport with young people and encouraging them to express their views in various public forms. The purposes of our charity are unlikely to cause any harm provided the panel, venue and objectives are adequately communicated. The charity’s beneficiaries are the general public. There is no private benefit flowing from the objectives & purposes of the charity.
