Public benefits

The Benefits which flow from Youth Outreach known as Rhythm are that young people aged 13-18 of all backgrounds have somewhere other than the streets and public parks to socialise on a Saturday night. This also benefits the local population in that it reduces underage drinking and other forms of anti-social behaviour. These benefits will be

evidenced by increasing numbers attending Rhythm and a reduction in antisocial behaviour. The direct beneficiaries are Young People aged 13-18 and also people lining in areas where these young people would otherwise congregate. Other beneficiaries are the general public in Banbridge and particularly those living in areas were the young people would otherwise congregate All those involved in running the charity do so on a voluntary basis and receive no income, expenses or other private benefits. No harm flows from the purposes.
