Public benefits
Christian Endeavour Ireland meets the public benefit requirement by providing to its members and the general public the Christian faith and what is required of those who adhere to it. The purpose of Christian Endeavour is to help young people to understand the Christian faith and to become personally involved in applying it in their daily lives and
as responsible citizens. Christian Endeavour is a non-denominational movement which seeks to teach and train its members for service in their local church. The direct benefits that flow from its purpose are as follows: • Spiritual and moral development • Ministry to children and young people • The protection of children • The promotion of Christian values • The production of appropriate literature • The training of volunteers which enables the delivery of its activities These benefits are demonstrated through young people developing into Christian leaders within their individual churches, other Christian organisations and in their communities. There is no harm flowing from the organisation’s purposes. There is no private benefit linked to the organisation.

Our organisation has the oversight of all Christian Endeavour groups operating within local churches so as to assist them in the growth of their Christian faith and to become responsible citizens by giving them awareness about health drugs, alcohol and other social issues. We also provide leadership support to those group leaders within the
churches and advise by the publication of various pamphlets and booklets how the various meetings should operate. To further this we provide training to all group leaders. Also we organise summer camps for interaction between the children and Young people of these groups We also organise competitions so that children and young people can showcase their talents. There are also fundays and conventions organised for fellowship purposes.
