The promotion of health and wellbeing The direct benefits which flow from this purpose are: increased life

expectancy, healthier lifestyles, knowledge of health and wellbeing support services, communities taking responsibility for their health and wellbeing. 3. To promote the benefit of children, young people and adults in Clarawood and the surrounding area The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is: the beneficiaries are supported and encouraged to reach their full social, spiritual and intellectual potential. 4. To educate and assist young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved. The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is: young people’s condition of life are improved. 5. To maintain and manage a centre in the area of benefit for activities promoted by the association. The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is: the ongoing provision of a community space for programmes and activities for children, young people and adults in the Clarawood community and surrounding areas in Belfast. These benefits will be evidenced through feedback from beneficiaries, parents and teachers; school inspection reports; Government statistics. We believe that this purpose will lead to no clearly identified harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are: children, young people and adults in the Clarawood community and surrounding areas in Belfast. There may be private benefits from the provision of training and support, but these benefits would be incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to beneficiaries.

Charitable purposes

The Project is established to advance education and the promotion of health and well-being and to promote the benefit of children, young people and adults (the beneficiaries) in Clarawood Community and surrounding areas in Belfast (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") and to educate and assist such young people through their leisure-time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved and in particular: - to maintain and manage a centre in the area of benefit for activities promoted by the association (hereinafter called "the Centre").
