The direct benefit from our purposes is promoting, sustaining and increasing individual and collective knowledge for children of pre-school age. To give these children a chance to be more independent, away from parents and spend time with their peers. To help develop social and learning skills in a structured environment. To prepare them for the

transition to school. These benefits are demonstrated through continued funding from DENI and regular evaluation by early years. The beneficiaries are pre-school children in the Islandmagee and surrounding area. There is no harm or private benefit flowing from our purposes

Charitable purposes

The group is established to promote play based learning environments for all children under statutory school age of Islandmagee and the surrounding areas in County Antrim(hereinafter called the area of benefit) without distinction of age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, communities and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and in particular: to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group; and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries; and (b) to support the values and principles of Early Years
