What your organisation does

Daneo Services is a counselling service that provides confidential, non-judgement support for people within Northern Ireland People access help for a broad range of problems: Personal growth issues Spiritual/Meaningfulness issues Clinical/pastoral supervision Career decisions Problems communicating with others Stress in the

workplace/home Marital difficulties Coping with a separation or divorce Coping with illness and death Childhood sexual abuse Feelings of anxiety or depression Post traumatic stress disorder. These and other issues are treated with great respect and a commitment to confidentiality. In addition to providing counselling Daneo Services offers clinical and pastoral supervision. In supervision the supervisee brings their work and seeks to reflect on the impact of this work on themselves and their clients. At Daneo Services we are committed to promoting spiritual development. We recognise that today there is a pulling back from the practice of religion and at the same time we note a growing interest in spirituality. We welcome clients of all denominations, ethnic origins and sexual orientation. All clients can be assured that their beliefs and opinions will be treated with the greatest respect. Because we are interested in a person’s spiritual dimension as well as the emotional and physical, we are an alternative to a strictly psychological understanding of human needs and relationships.

Charitable purposes

Daneo Services is established to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland primarily, but also in any part of the world (the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion by the advancement of religion, the advancement of education and the protection and preservation of the spiritual, emotional and psychological health of persons in need in the area of benefit and in particular: a) to maintain and manage a centre or centres in the area of benefit for activities by the association ("the Centre"). b) to provide counselling services to individuals in need and to provide advice, information and training on therapeutic approaches to both individuals and organisations in the area of benefit.
