Public benefits

The direct benefit from this purpose is an increase in the amount of children being educated through the medium of Irish leading to an increase in the use of spoken and written Irish and an increased awareness of the language. This is demonstrated by the exponential rise in the number of Irish medium nurseries and schools in recent years. A

private benefit, which is an incidental benefit, may be the experience that the staff and volunteers gain from their work in dealing with the public which may increase their chances of employment with other employers. This incidental benefit contributes to the efficient running of the organisation and we do not see a conflict of interest or any potential harm.
