Public benefits

Purpose 1 – the advantage of the Christian Religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of God concerning His Son Jesus the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God under the auspices of the Organisation in accordance with the statement of truths of Living Waters Christian Centre as stated in Appendix A of the

constitution. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include increased awareness of the Gospel and the practical application of same in relation to people of Toomebridge and the surrounding districts. These benefits can be demonstrated by feedback from beneficiaries. Purpose 2 – to promote unity, reconciliation and restoration within the Christian community in accordance with the statement of truths of Living Waters Christian Centre. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include increased understanding of different cultures and religion and fostering better understanding of each other’s backgrounds. These benefits can be demonstrated by feedback from beneficiaries and an increased mixing of different cultures. The beneficiaries are the people of Toomebridge and surrounding districts. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. No private benefit arises as a result of the activities of Living Waters Christian Centre.

What your organisation does

Promotes the teaching of the Gospel and seeks to live and demonstrate the Christian way of life to those in and around the Toomebridge area. This is achieved through home visits to those in the area, public and private meetings, and by taking people to visit other organisations for counselling in relation to drug and alcohol dependency.

Charitable purposes

The object or aim of the Organisation shall be: a. The advantage of the Christian Religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of God concerning His Son Jesus the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God under the auspices of the Organisation in accordance with the statement of truths of Living Waters Christian Centre as stated in Appendix A of the constitution. b. to promote unity, reconciliation and restoration within the Christian community in accordance with the statement of truths of Living Waters Christian Centre. c. Such other charitable purposes as shall further the attainment of the above objects of the Organisation or any of them under the law of Northern Ireland.
