Public benefits

Our aims will foster a more humane attitude to the breed giving assistance to the public in general and OES owners in particular with advice and guidance based on experience backed by a network of knowledgeable and caring people. By educating the public we not only benefit these dogs and their owners but promote more positive attitudes to animals

generally by applying the principle of "first do no harm" reducing the risk of coming to harm themselves by using safe and kind handling techniques. There is no harm and no private benefit flowing from these purposes.

What your organisation does

To rescue Old English Sheepdogs whether abandoned, neglected, unwanted or cruelty cases and re-home them, funding any necessary veterinary and rehabilitation treatment (or in the worst case, Humane euthanasia), and transport costs throughout the Province of Ulster, with occasional referral from the Republic of Ireland. Our re-homing policy extends

to finding suitable homes throughout the United Kingdom and The Republic of Ireland.

Fermanagh and its environs in N Ireland, but not exclusively (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") and in particular to foster and encourage the formation of humane attitudes among people in the area of benefit towards animals, especially those which are sick or stray or in need of assistance, and to this end to provide practical assistance to such animals which are in need of such assistance.
