Public benefits

The benefits which flow from our purpose include access to a free professional counselling service, relief of stress and anxiety, ability to better manage issues leading to a reduction of emotional and mental distress, self harm and suicide. This enables clients to lead more effective lives through improved relationships, enables them to continue

with daily activities and improves their ability to continue in employment or education. These benefits are evidenced through written individual client evaluations and feedback questionnaires. We are not aware of any harm arising out of our purposes. Beneficiaries are male and female persons aged 11 years and upwards who have emotional and mental health needs, living in Colin Area and Lisburn. Trustees receive a private benefit of governance training. Through this they gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. This is necessary to achieve our purposes as it enables the trustees to oversee our services and is therefore incidental.
