Public benefits

Farranshane Community Trust exists to promote urban regeneration through the relief of poverty. This is demonstrated through having the availability of community space and commercial units for start us businesses that works in partnership with the community and other bodies. The public benefit is the provision of the workspace, buildings, and

function/meeting room space. The benefit is for all within the Rathenraw area and its environs regardless of disability/age/social/economic circumstances and this leads to increased opportunities for all in the area through a shared space to support and develop the work of community groups, provide recreational and health facilities, to receive training, education and the opportunity to start a business to help in the relief of poverty. The benefits are demonstrated through the results achieved, with an improved quality of life, decrease in poverty levels for the inhabitants of the area. We obtain regular feedback from those who use the services provided. This purpose does not lead to harm. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries. Farranshane Community Trust exists to promote urban regeneration through the relief of unemployment. This is demonstrated through having the availability of community space and commercial units for start us businesses that works in partnership with the community and other bodies. The public benefit is the provision of the workspace, buildings, and function/meeting room space. The benefit is for all within and its environs regardless of disability/age/social/economic circumstances and this leads to increased knowledge and understanding to all in the area through a shared space to support and develop training and educational opportunities to increase opportunities for employment or provide the premises to start a new business. The benefits are demonstrated through the results achieved, with almost 100% space let and through the obtainment of jobs for those who were unemployed. We obtain regular feedback from those who use and rent space and evaluation of the services provided and from those who have attained employment. This purpose does not lead to harm. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries. Farranshane Community Trust exists to promote urban regeneration through the advancement of education, training or retraining particularly among unemployed people and providing unemployed people with work experience. This is demonstrated through having the availability of community space and commercial units for start us businesses that works in partnership with the community and other bodies. The public benefit is the provision of the workspace, buildings, and function/meeting room space The benefit is for all within the Rathenraw area and its environs regardless of disability/age/social/economic circumstances and this leads to increased knowledge and understanding to all in the area through a shared space to support and develop training, access facilities to job match skills, retraining and educational opportunities to increase prospects for employment amongst the unemployed in the area. The benefits are demonstrated through the results achieved, through the obtainment of jobs and work experience for those who were unemployed and a new skill with the retraining and educational opportunities. We obtain regular feedback from those who have attained employment. This purpose does not lead to harm. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries. Charitable purposes

The objects of the Company shall be:- (a) The promotion for the public benefit of urban regeneration in the Rathenraw are and its environs (the "area of benefit"), being an area of social and economic deprivation, by all or any of the following means: (i) the relief of poverty; (ii) the relief of unemployment; (iii) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people, and providing unemployed people with work experience; (iv) the creation of training and employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings and/or land for use on favourable terms; (v) the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities; (vi) the provision of recreational facilities for the public at large or those who by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances, have need of such facilities; (vii) the provision of public health facilities and childcare; (viii) the promotion of public safety and prevention of crime. (b) To support and develop the work of community and voluntary groups in charitable activity which seek to relieve poverty, advance education, provide facilities for youth and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit.
