Public benefits
The public benefit is that we improve the lives and well-being of people with severe learning disability/complex needs and mental ill health to enable them to live in the community and be part of the community. We also strive to improve their self-esteem and confidence so that they will be able to take part in day care activity which will enhance
their ability to make choices and live a more independent life. The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission who undertake regular inspections and provides evidence of the quality of service provided. Also, the service is audited by Durham County Council and again provides evidence of the quality of service that is being provided. There is no harm or private benefit flowing from the organisation's purposes

Accept Care Ltd offers bespoke domiciliary support and care packages to people with severe learning disability, mental health issues and diverse and complex needs. We create a unique person centred plan that aims to meet the needs, wishes, preferences, ambitions, and aspirations of each person. In this way, the person retains control of the
support package and the way in which this is provided, whilst we ensure that the plan includes an individualised approach to support planning and positive risk management. Each person is supported by a 'core team' of staff of their own choosing. In this way, we ensure that the support provided is consistent in approach and that the person is supported by a team of staff that they prefer. This includes social, educational, vocational, financial, recreational needs and wishes, as well as leisure activities.
